The quiet fishing town of Salthaven, located on the island with the same name, is suddenly plagued by fierce storms. No ships are able to leave or dock due to the relentless waves pummeling the shoreline. There are rumors that people have been attacked by terrible monsters washing up on the shore. Panic is spreading among the populace and a sinister marsh cult is quick to take advantage of this by recruiting the scared townsfolk to their cause. The town council is scrambling to figure out what happened and will pay a handsome sum to anyone who assists in solving the situation. The survival of Salthaven is at stake! This is an island adventure toolbox and setting by Robin Fjärem. It’s a buffet of content for the GM who may use it to run the main adventure or to inspire their own creations. It was originally written for Cairn (the game by Yochai Gal), but has been adapted to Dragonbane with a new layout. Finally the mariner of the party will have something to do! There are six major sections in the 42 pages of this book:

• Town of Salthaven introduces the setting and the main adventure. It comes with several adventure seeds and tools. There is also a small temple dungeon hidden in the swamp. I recommend reading through pages 4-9 before doing anything else.
• The Underground, where the vast sewer system below Salthaven is detailed along with many of its secrets, as well as the lair of the enigmatic eelfolk.
• Myths & Legends consists of 4 large adventure seeds inspired by folklore that can form the basis of proper adventures.
• Enemies & Monsters contains descriptions and stats for all the enemies and monsters mentioned in the book.
• Of Ships and the Sea contains procedures and events for sea travel as well as a list of seafaring vessels.
• Professions. Finally, there are two professions that your players may use for their characters: The smuggler and the cultist.
